Thanks for visitng my blog! I decided to start this when I moved from Austin to Atlanta in the summer of 2006. I figured the new adventure would offer some fun stories to share with friends and family around the globe. I'm a Social Worker, by the way -- hence the title of the blog.
Thought I would give a little shout out to all my fellow social workers. Keep fighting the good fight.

Social workers have meant so much to me in my life - aside from the fact that two of my children are social workers - social workers were my rock at a time when I really needed someone to help me and to be there for me.
Thank you to all who have chosen this very noble profession.
